Lawrence Township Police Officer Na’ir Campbell and Chief Christopher Longo’s assistant David Doherty were presented with special handmade items – teddy bears, blanket/matts and “support bags” – for children experiencing stress, tension or trauma in situations requiring a police response in the community. The items were handmade using recycled materials by the Pioneers Volunteer Network, whose mission is to “help military families, protect the environment, educate, enrich lives and promote health and human services.”
