Middletown public library honors artist with exhibit

The Middletown Public Library will host a month long art exhibit to honor local artist and Red Bank resident, Alexander John Goldenberg, fromJune 1 to 24, at 55 New Monmouth Road.

Goldenberg was a husband and a father who passed away from colon cancer last year. After his diagnosis in May 2014, he began painting and created multiple pieces of art.

A reception open to the public will take place from 12-1 p.m. on June 24.

His work can be viewed at the library through the month of June.

The original paintings range in size and price. Prints will be available for purchase as well. Goldenberg’s wife, Donna Panarello can also arrange viewings before the exhibit.
