Auction to benefit art therapy program

LITTLE SILVER — Red Bank Regional High School (RBR) will host a student art auction from 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 26 at 101 Ridge Road. All proceeds will benefit Amanda’s Easel, an art therapy program operated by 180 Turning Lives Around.

Professional auctioneer Peter Constanzo will conduct the event, which will feature photography and artwork in oil, watercolor, pencil and other mediums.

“This is the twelfth year of the auction to benefit a charity near and dear to our hearts. It also presents an excellent opportunity for members of the local community to purchase fabulous, original art at very good prices while supporting a very worthwhile cause,” said Claudia O’Connor, RBR Visual and Performing Arts Academy art teacher, in a press release.

Admission is a suggested donation of $2 per adult and $1 for those under 18. For more information, visit www.rbrhs.org.
