Clara Barton Local History Day Nov. 4

The Clara Barton Public Library has partnered with the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society to bring back Clara Barton Local History Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4 at the library, 141 Hoover Avenue, Edison.

The event will consist of a 30-minute interactive presentation at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Attendees will also have the opportunity to browse through and view old photographs, maps, displays, and other memorabilia pertaining to the history of Clara Barton.

Members of the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society will be present to answer any questions and share stories. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to “bring their own history” and share some of their old photos with members of the community.

The event is free and is open to all ages. Light refreshments will be served.
