The Friends of the North Brunswick Library will hold its annual used book sale on May 4-6 at the Brunswick Shopping Center, Georges and Milltown roads, in the empty store located between Rainbow and LA Fitness, North Brunswick.
In keeping with their cat theme, “Paws to Read,” donations of cans or boxes of unexpired cat food will be accepted for 50 cents off a purchase. Limit one donation per person per day. The food will support the North Brunswick Humane Association.
“Pete the Cat” toys and dolls will be raffled off. No purchase necessary. Guess how many M&Ms are in the big jar to win a huge Pete the Cat.
The sale starts from 3-9 p.m. on May 4. There will be a $5 admission fee for the first night only. Children 12 and under and members of the Friends of the North Brunswick Library will be admitted for free. Placeholder tickets for the first night are available at the North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road.
The sale continues with free admission from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 5 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 6. Everything will be half-price on May 6. Fill a grocery cart for $50.
