Neuropathy can be treated through conservative measures

Neuropathy is a condition that affects many people of all ages. The unfortunate issue when speaking about neuropathy is that there is no cure. The positive thing is that it can be treated through conservative measures. Since there are multiple causes of neuropathy, the first step is to diagnose the actual cause. The symptoms, regardless of the cause, share many similarities. Although each patient has their own description of how they feel, they all share a decrease in their quality of life.

At AllCure Spine & Sports Medicine, we pride ourselves on giving patients the relief they need and deserve. Our treatment protocol consists of physical-based exercises that are paired with specific modalities to repair nerve damage. Again, this is not a cure, rather a treatment that can have long-lasting effects. We want patients to get relief without the use of drugs or surgical intervention.

In our office we have all the proper equipment to help diagnose, as well as treat patients that have neuropathy symptoms. Our office has multiple doctors who consist of physical therapists, chiropractors, pain management doctors and acupuncturists. All of AllCure Spine & Sports Medicine’s providers have extensive experience treating neuropathy cases and have had a great amount of success in doing so.

In most cases, the development of symptoms is a gradual process, which means the success in treatment is a gradual process as well. We have found that patients who dedicate the time and effort into getting themselves better are the patients who get the most improvement.

The majority of patients who have come to us have already seen multiple doctors prior to their initial visit, leaving us as their last hope. They explain to us that many doctors have told them that there is nothing they can do, which is extremely discouraging to hear. At AllCure Spine & Sports Medicine, we refuse to accept that there is nothing to be done and have proven results to indicate otherwise.

AllCure Spine & Sports Medicine is located at 350 Forsgate Dr., Monroe. For more information, visit allcurespineandsports.com or call 732-521-9222.
