Raritan Bay Medical Center announces December seminars

The Institute of Weight Loss at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge is sponsoring an “Is Weight Loss Surgery Right for Me?”seminar from 7-8 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 12, and from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Dec. 26 in Suite 404, Medical Arts Building, 3 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge.

The informative event will focus on weight loss surgery including discussion on Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass, Adjustable Gastric Banding and Gastric Sleeve, and concerns surrounding weight loss surgery as well as its successes. The Human Motion Institute is sponsoring a free Total Joint Replacement Education session from 8-9 a.m. on Dec. 11 and 18 in the Patient Education Center, 1st Floor, Medical and Surgical Pavilion, 2 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge. The session is intended for patients who have been scheduled for joint replacement surgery or for those who would like to learn more about joint replacement. The Institute of Weight is sponsoring a Bariatric Weight Loss Support Group Meeting from 6-7 p.m. on Dec. 26 in Auxiliary Hall B, 3 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge. For individuals who have had surgery, are contemplating weight loss surgery or trying to maintain a healthy weight. Family and friends are welcome.
