South River Police Department to hold Coffee with a Cop on Dec. 19

The South River Police Department invites all community members to join offiers for Coffee with a Cop from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 19 at Wawa, 656 Old Bridge Turnpike, South River.

Officers will come together with community members in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
