HIGHTSTOWN: Environmental commission plans logo contest

The Hightstown Environmental Commission is holding a contest to develop the commission’s new environmental friendly logo. The contest is open to all residents of the Hightstown community.
Participants are asked to develop an environmental slogan with a matching logo drawing to be displayed on the borough website, the commission’s Facebook page, and the event T-shirts for the April 23 Arbor Day celebration. Contestants are encouraged to be creative, focusing on themes applicable to the environment.
All entries must be submitted by March 28, 2016 to: Hightstown Environmental Commission, 156 Bank Street, Hightstown, N.J., 08520. Please include your name and contact information with your entry.
The winner of the contest will be notified on March 30, 2016, and will be awarded with a certificate of appreciation, a T-shirt featuring the selected logo, and five sapling trees to plant.
