  • Kevin T. McMorrow, 23, of Pearl River, New York, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 south at 1:06 a.m. Jan. 27. 
  • Someone dumped a dead sheep at a Dumpster behind a business on Clarksville Road sometime between Jan. 27 and Jan. 28. Police detectives and the East Windsor Township animal control officer responded and determined that the sheep had come from Kentucky and was slaughtered according to Kosher dietary butchering standards. 
  • A thief took two fog lights from a West Windsor Township resident’s 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle. It was not known where the truck was parked when the theft occurred or when the fog lights were stolen. The theft was reported at 7:38 p.m. Jan. 27. 
  • Shontice M. Davis, 21, and Dominique N. Spotwood, 24, both of Trenton were charged with shoplifting for taking DVD movies and cosmetics from Walmart on Nassau Park Boulevard at 1:18 p.m. Jan. 28. Ms. Spotwood was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $383 from Hamilton Township Municipal Court. The driver of a car parked outside the store, Terrance Spotwood Jr., 20, of Trenton, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,200 from Mount Holly and Hamilton municipal courts. 
  • A 40-cubic-yard trash container, attached to an external trash compactor outside the Best Buy store on Nassau Park Boulevard, was reported to be on fire at 9:22 a.m. Jan. 30. A tow truck pulled it away from the building and firefighters extinguished the fire. Heat from the fire activated the sprinkler system in the warehouse portion of the Best Buy store, causing extensive damage to electronics stored there. The fire was determined to be accidental. 
  • Dashana M. Barber, 18, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for taking three cans of baby formula from Walmart on Nassau Park Boulevard at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 31. She was also charged with hindering apprehension for providing false information to a police officer. She was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $500 from Westampton and Burlington municipal courts. 
