EAST WINDSOR: Passion for diners, photography featured in library display

Photographs of diners and their iconic contents will make up the September-October art display at the Hickory Corner Library.
Local photographer Barbara Battista attributes Life magazine with her interest in photography and Roadside magazine with her passion for diners.
The display will run from Sept. 2 through Oct. 26, 2017 during regular library hours. The Hickory Corner Branch of the Mercer County Library System at 138 Hickory Corner Road, East Windsor.
A reception and talk will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12. The reception will include a short talk about diner history at 7 p.m. Battista will share her best examples of diner memorabilia. Come to meet the artist, view her artwork and enjoy light refreshments.
