South Brunswick Health Department seeks information on dog who bit child

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – The South Brunswick Health Department is seeking any information about the owner of dog that bit a child around 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 on a walking path along Viking Way in the Dean’s Pond Development.

An 8-year-old girl was jogging with two friends when they encountered  a woman walking a dog on a leash. The dog reportedly jumped on the girl and bit her forearm. The woman pulled the dog back and asked the girl if she was OK, according to reports. The girl went to a friend’s house where they discovered the bite marks, according to police.

The woman walking the dog was described as a white female in her 30s with curly red hair. The dog was described as having brown short hair with black on its tail and ears.
