America’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Brookdale Community College is inviting entrepreneurs of Monmouth and Ocean counties to attend the no-cost workshop, “Foodiepreneur: The Business of Food,” from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 23 at Brookdale’s campus at 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft.
The workshop is for people looking to grow or launch a food business, such as a restaurant, food truck, commercial food product and/or artisan goods.
Attendees can get candid insight from accomplished entrepreneurs, such as Tim McLoone, Marilyn Schlossbach, John Yarusi and Sam Chung, and essential resource partners such as the Monmouth County Health Department, The Culinary Education Center of Monmouth County and Rutgers Food Innovation Center.
