Two thieves made off with items valued at $50 after one of them convinced a Harbourton-Woodsville Road resident to let him into the house, according to the Hopewell Township Police Department.

A man who reportedly identified himself as a utility company worker allegedly asked the resident to allow him to enter the house to make repairs to the electrical panel in the incident, which occurred on March 23, police said.
