Current statistics show more women tested positive for COVID-19 in Monroe

MONROE – Monroe officials offered statistics of COVID-19 cases from March 14 to April 9.

The total number of cases as of April 9 was 213. Of the cases, 117 (55%) were women with an average age of 55 year old and 96 (44%) were men with an average age of 61. Recovery data is not available.

MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, testing site has tested 1,182 patients as of April 9 and 33% of the tests have come back positive.

The testing site serves pre-registered patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drive-up patients from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Pre-register at www.myinstadocmonroe.com or call 609-207-3220 to speak with a medical professional.
