South River experiences weather-related power outage

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – There is a weather-related power outage affecting portions of South River.

South River Electric Utility is currently working on restoration, according to information provided at 11 a.m. today (April 13).

While repairs are taking place, additional power outages are possible. Restoration could take until 8 p.m., according to the statement.

Any updates will be provided if they become available.

Motorists are asked to avoid George Street between Thomas Street and Stephen Street due to downed utility poles and transformers.
