Mike Wieder has been a mobile deejay for more than 37 years. Three years ago, he started a division of his company, Ultimate Sounds Entertainment, called NJ Bubble Parties that specialized in bubble dance parties for pre-schools and young children.
“When this pandemic started it seemed like people lost their smiles. So, I thought about things I could do to help bring those smiles back. Nothing makes people of all ages smile quite like bubbles. I packed a couple of bubble machines and a speaker into the back of my car (The Bubble Mobile) and started driving around the East Windsor/Monroe area playing music and blasting bubbles,” Wieder said. “From that we started getting requests, asking us to participate in drive by parades and then requests for us to come to birthday parties, anniversaries, etc. So, I put together a 15-minute program that is upbeat, fun for all ages and full of bubbles. It can be done in a parking lot, in front of a house, on your lawn, in a cul-de-sac and just about anywhere we have a safe spot to park, dance and blow thousands of bubbles,” he said.
