A West Broad Street resident reported on April 13 that someone allegedly filed for unemployment benefits using the victim’s personal information.

A 36-year-old North Brunswick man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a police officer observed him driving erratically on Trenton-Harbourton Road April 12. He was issued a summons and taken to the Hopewell Township Police Department headquarters, where he was released to a family member’s custody.

A thief allegedly stole lumber that was being stored at the Music Together property on Pennington-Hopewell Road overnight between April 12 and 13.

A 31-year-old Trenton man was arrested on outstanding warrants from several municipalities after he was stopped for speeding on Route 31 south on April 13. The outstanding warrants were discovered during the motor vehicle stop for speeding, according to police.

Three Wrick Avenue residents reported that their cars had been entered and cash and other valuables had been stolen while the vehicles were parked in their owners’ driveways overnight between April 11 and 12. All of the cars were unlocked, police said.

A State Park Drive resident told police that someone had fraudulently used their credit card to make unauthorized purchases online. The incident of identity theft was reported April 12.

A 27-year-old Newark man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he was stopped for speeding on Route 31 south on April 11. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses in connection with the motor vehicle stop for speeding.

A catalytic converter was reportedly removed from a car that was parked at Al’s Sunoco on Route 31 south overnight between April 10 and 11.

A Shrewsbury Court resident told police that someone allegedly filed for unemployment benefits using the victim’s personal information. The incident was reported April 5.

Police were sent to Michael’s Deli in Hopewell Borough following a report of an assault April 4. The caller said they were assaulted by an unknown person while inside the store. The assault occurred after an argument with the unknown person, who was not wearing a mask, inside the business.
