This year, Educational Testing Service (ETS) donated $92,000 to the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF) to support local public-school students and schools.

This brings ETS’s overall funding to the LTEF to $2,434,000 since 1993.

In addition, ETS has been a strong financial supporter of the Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) since 1981, according to a statement provided by LTEF.

“The LTEF is extremely grateful for its partnership with ETS and the organization’s success is a direct result of the generous annual donations that make it possible for the LTEF to achieve its mission,” Karen Faiman, executive director of the LTEF, said in the statement.

The LTEF is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support projects and programs within LTPS that foster excellence, creativity, and achievement in education.

Just this spring, LTEF surpassed 1,000 grants funded in LTPS, with more than $4.2 million invested in these projects and programs, according to the statement.

ETS has been a vital partner of LTEF since its creation. The mission of ETS is to advance quality and equity in education by providing fair and valid assessments, research and related services.

“Supporting the LTEF aligns with ETS’s mission and work, and represents our commitment to public schools and the students they serve,” Lenora Green, executive director of ETS’s Center for Advocacy and Philanthropy (CAAP), said in the statement.
