Pedestrian struck by car dies

An 82-year-old Princeton man who was struck by a car on Rosedale Road Aug. 25 has died, according to the Princeton Police Department.

The man was hit by a car as he attempted to cross Rosedale Road at General Johnson Drive, which is the entrance to the Johnson Park School, shortly after 8 a.m. Aug. 25, police said.

He had activated the pedestrian crossing signal and was walking across Rosedale Road toward the elementary school side of the street when he was struck by a car driven by a 54-year-old Princeton woman.

He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, following the accident.

The driver of the Lexus ES 350 was uninjured.
