A bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen from the front porch of a Wiggins Street residence on Sept. 17.

Someone obtained a checkbook belonging to an Allison Road resident and fraudulently cashed a check for $57,000, drawn on the victim’s checking account, according to police. The incident was reported Sept. 17.

A thief fished a check out of a U.S. Postal Service mailbox, altered it and cashed it, resulting in a loss of $10,000, according to police. The incident was reported Sept. 17.

A Woodlawn Drive resident reported that someone had used her identity to withdraw a total of $2,000 from a joint PNC checking account that she shares with her husband. The case of identity theft was reported Sept. 18.

Someone entered a Jefferson Road resident’s unlocked car and stole the victim’s wallet between 6 p.m. Sept. 9 and 6 a.m. Sept. 10, according to reports. The thief made several fraudulent transactions, using the victim’s personal credit and debit cards, between Sept. 10 and 18, police said.

A Dorann Avenue resident reported that a thief used a rock to break the driver’s-side front window on her 2017 Toyota Corolla and stole her purse, which was on the passenger’s side floor, according to reports. The burglary and theft occurred between 11 p.m. Sept. 18 and 10:23 a.m. Sept. 19.

A 2017 Subaru Crosstrek was reported stolen from a Leavitt Lane residence. The victim told police that someone had entered her husband’s unlocked car and stole her purse and its contents, which included keys to the Subaru. The incident was reported Sept. 18.
