Trenton man charged with DWI for crashing vehicle into trees

A Trenton man who was reported to be ringing the doorbell at a Woodhollow Road home at 3:55 a.m. Oct. 16 after he crashed his Nissan minivan was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to the West Windsor Police Department.

A police officer who responded to the call on Woodhollow Road found the man leaning against a tree. During the investigation, it was determined that the man had crashed his minivan into two trees on Village Road West. The minivan came to rest against a large tree and was disabled. The man walked away from it.

Police determined that the man was intoxicated, and he was charged with driving while intoxicated. He was taken to the West Windsor Police Department headquarters and processed. He was released, pending a court date in West Windsor Municipal Court.
