Rider University honors Class of 2022

Rider University hosted three commencement ceremonies last week.
On May 12, the university honored the graduate Class of 2022 on campus in Rider’s Alumni Gym. Judith M. Persichilli ’80, the commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health, addressed the graduates and received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
On May 13, Rider celebrated the Westminster Choir College Classes of 2022 and 2020 in the Princeton University Chapel. Ann Meier Baker, director of music and opera at the National Endowment for the Arts, addressed the graduates.
On May 14, the university celebrated the undergraduate Class of 2022 at the Cure Insurance Arena. Paul Muller, owner of Team Toyota of Langhorne, Princeton and Glen Mills addressed the graduates and received an honorary Doctor of Business.
Prior to the ceremony, graduating senior Dani Jackson won a brand-new car in Rider’s annual Cruisin’ From Commencement contest. Organized by the university’s student-run radio station, 107.7 The Bronc WRRC-FM, the contest challenges graduating students to submit a video about their Rider experience. Ten finalists test keys in the vehicle to see who is the winner.
