A 23-year-old Newark man was charged with theft of property July 26. He allegedly took credit cards out of a woman’s wallet in a store June 24 and attempted to use the credit cards to make purchases online. He was turned over to the Hillsborough Township Police Department for an outstanding warrant.

A 51-year-old Princeton man was issued a summons for careless driving June 22. He allegedly struck a 58-year-old pedestrian at the Montgomery Shopping Center on Route 206 as she was walking from a store to the parking lot. She suffered minor injuries and was treated by the Montgomery EMS.

A 49-year-old South Amboy man was issued a summons for careless driving July 19. His car allegedly left the road and crashed into a guard rail on Route 206. He was not injured. The car was towed from the scene.
