A 19-year-old South Amboy woman was charged for allegedly shoplifting a pair of earrings from a store on Hulfish Street Aug. 19.

A 38-year-old Levittown, Pa., man was charged with theft and burglary for allegedly taking landscaping equipment from a landscaping contractor’s trailer while it was parked on Godel Lane Aug. 15.

A 42-year-old Princeton man was charged with driving while intoxicated, motor vehicle theft and burglary after he allegedly stole a car parked on Guyot Avenue and drove it while he was intoxicated Aug. 14. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A Heather Lane resident reported that someone allegedly used his personal information to open two cellular accounts and to purchase two Apple iPhones without his permission. The purchases totaled $2,199.98. The incident of forgery and theft was reported Aug. 13.

A man entered a store on N. Harrison Street and allegedly stole a necklace valued at $230 Aug. 10.
