East Brunswick police charge two females with soliciting, burglary

EAST BRUNSWICK – Police responded to a report of two individuals soliciting without a permit, which later led to charges of burglary.

Patrolman Jeff Dougherty found two females, Deena Czyzewski and Ciara Pugsley, both of Newark, allegedly soliciting for an undisclosed company around Lake Avenue after 9 p.m. on June 22.

Both individuals were issued township ordnances for soliciting without a permit, according to a statement prepared by the East Brunswick Police Department.

During the course of the investigation, Czyzewski was reportedly found to be a wanted person out of Newark and allegedly in possession of a checkbook belonging to a resident of Lake Avenue, police said.

Both individuals were charged with burglary and bail was set for both at $10,000 full, according to police.
