Hillsborough Project Graduation

The Hillsborough High School Prom Dress Drive is in full swing, and it’s a perfect opportunity to help students while supporting an amazing cause.

Organized in partnership with Hillsborough High School’s Project Graduation, the event gives students affordable prom dress options and raises money for Project Graduation, a program that provides a safe and fun celebration for graduating seniors.

Donations of gently used or new prom and formal dresses are being accepted until January 31, 2025.

There honestly couldn’t be a better chance to declutter your closet and, consequently, make a meaningful difference.

All kinds of dresses in every size, color, and style are welcome.

So, if you have dresses sitting in your closet that you no longer need, they could become someone else’s dream outfit for prom.

There are three convenient drop-off locations to make it easy for you to contribute:

  • Hillsborough High School: Miss Dunne’s Room (#509).
  • Hillsborough Municipal Building: A donation bin is located near the library entrance.
  • 9 Covel Drive, Hillsborough, NJ.

In case you can’t make it to any of the drop-off points, don’t worry.

You can text or call 908-208-6786 to arrange for a pick-up.

They’re also looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the sale, so if you want to get involved, that’s a great way to lend a hand.

For anyone who doesn’t have a dress to donate, there’s still a way to contribute.

Financial donations are also being accepted, and they’re tax-deductible.

The flyer even includes a QR code you can scan to make it super easy to donate.

Every contribution helps, whether it’s a dress, money, or your time.

The grand finale of this event is the dress sale, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025.

It’s happening at the Williamsburg Square Clubhouse, located at 802 Marlborough Common in Hillsborough, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

And since the sale is open to the public, you will likely be able to buy a gorgeous prom dress at an affordable price.

But arguably the best part is that all proceeds will go directly to Hillsborough High School’s Project Graduation.

And even if you can’t donate or shop, you can still help by spreading the word.

Share the details of the dress drive on your social media pages, or print out the flyer and post it at local businesses.

The more people who know about it, the better the turnout will be, which means more support for Project Graduation.

No matter how you choose to help, whether it’s a dress, a donation, or your time, you’ll be making a difference by creating joy, providing opportunities, and showing support to students and their families.
