Art exhibition call for entries announced

WEST LONG BRANCH — Monmouth University Center for the Arts and Autism Speaks announce a call for entries for the juried art exhibition Art + Autism, showcasing the talents and abilities of artists living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The submission period is now open and will run until the deadline on Dec. 15, 2016. An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on April 2, 2017, at Pollak Gallery, Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Ave., West Long Branch.

For consideration, all applicants must be 16 years or older and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and must submit a complete submission form, along with an accompanying photo of each piece being submitted. A maximum of three pieces can be submitted by each artist, and can include, but is not limited to drawing, mixed media, painting, fine crafts, and 3-D sculpture.
