HOPEWELL TWP.: One-car crash hospitalizes Lawrenceville couple 

A Lawrenceville couple was hospitalized in a low-speed one-car crash on Flower Hill Lane just off of Bull Run Road at 3:13 p.m. Dec. 31.
Hopewell Township Police found a 2015 Volvo S80, driven by Michael Goodman, 69, of Allura Court, Lawrenceville. Police said Mr. Goodman was traveling north on Flower Hill Lane. For an unknown reason, possibly medical related, police said, the Volvo left the roadway, struck a street sign, a fence and then a tree before coming to rest.
Mr. Goodman was removed from the vehicle and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by the Pennington First Aid Squad with paramedics from Capital Health System.
A passenger, Barbara Goodman, 73, of the same address, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by Hopewell Valley Emergency Services.
Pennington Fire Company was also dispatched.
The crash is being investigated by Officer Joseph Maccaquano and Detective Mike Sherman. 
