A community blood drive to celebrate the memory of George T. Rupert, a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the East Brunswick community for more than 50 years who lost his battle with acute myeloid leukemia in July 2015, is set for 1:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at East Brunswick Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 133, 485 Cranbury Road, behind University Radiology.

The drive will be conducted by New Jersey Blood Services, a division of the New York Blood Center. All participating donors will receive refreshments and giveaways and have a chance to win several raffle prizes including a Starbucks gift package.
