The Edison Arts Society will sponsor its second annual Poetry Festival from 7-9 p.m., May 19, at the Oak Tree Presbyterian Church on Plainfield Road in Edison.

The EAS is seeking creative poets to share their original verse with the public. Each poet is asked to share several pieces with the audience and allow a little time for guests to question the artists about their work and creative process. Open free of charge to guests, light refreshments are served following the formal reading of verse. During the reception time, interested audience members will have the opportunity to converse with the poets privately about their work.
