Harvey William Gleeksman Harvey William Gleeksman died on Monday, March 7. He was born on July 2, 1937 in Los Angeles and raised in Baltimore. He attended the University of Virginia on an NROTC program and served three years in the Navy. Upon completion of his naval service he earned an MBA at the Wharton School of Business. Harvey spent most of his career in real estate development and opened some of the first self-storage facilities in New Jersey. He co-founded 1st Constitution Bank of Cranbury, NJ and served on the bank’s Board of Directors for more than 20 years. For the past 6 years Harvey was on the board of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Sarasota, FL and mentored at-risk youth at a middle school in Manatee County, FL. He enjoyed tending the sheep on the farm he and his wife Sue owned in Cranbury, NJ. An avid woodworker and tinkerer, he spent many hours in his workshop. Harvey was happiest sitting or napping in the sun and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife of 46 years, Harvey is survived by daughter Carrie (Michael) Kellman of Boulder, CO, son Benj (Belinda Colón) Gleeksman of Saratoga Springs, NY, grandchildren Charlie and BastienGleeksman, sister-in-law Jean Gray, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Andrew and Joan Kohn and many nieces and nephews. Harvey was preceded in death by his brother Robert and Sue’s sister Sally Kohn.
