Residents encouraged to purchase composting bins

The Middlesex County Division of Solid Waste Management will have composting bins for sale from 12-3 p.m. Wednesdays and from 9 a.m.-noon Fridays at 711 Jersey Ave., New Brunswick.

Different types of bins are available, including those exclusively for yard trimmings, bins that use scraps from the table and yard, and an indoor bin for vermi-composing with worms.
