Man reportedly engaged in lewd behavior at North Brunswick cemetery

NORTH BRUNSWICK — Patrol officers were dispatched to Van Liew Cemetery on Georges Road on April 26 for a report of a man who was masturbating in public.

Upon officers’ arrival around 6:30 p.m., the individual was no longer there, according to information provided by the North Brunswick Police Department.

Officers and detectives searched the area and located a male reportedly matching the description provided, police said. William Higley III, 53, of North Brunswick, was apprehended and lodged in the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center pending court.
