On April 14, approximately 25 volunteers from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in East Brunswick returned to Crystal Springs Aquatic Park for their fourth annual beautification of the front entrance. The charitable project was part of the real estate company’s statewide Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event.

Branch Vice President Sandra Tesser and Coldwell Banker Cares Ambassador Carolyn Barszcz led the office in planning a return trip to the park to replace trees and plants damaged during the winter. Affiliated agents and staff contributed the funds needed to purchase trees, shrubs, flowers and top soil. On Cares Day, the volunteers spent an hour shopping for the supplies and three hours revitalizing the garden at the front entrance of the park.

“I am proud of all the sales associates and staff who work so hard each year to prepare Crystal Springs for the summer season. It’s a source of great community pride to have such a beautiful entrance greet the park’s many visitors,” Tesser said.

Tesser also gave special thanks to Michael Reissner of the East Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department for authorizing the project each year; Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Regional Vice President Lou Redbord for helping with the planting; and Barszcz for her dedication in planning the project.

“We live and work in the East Brunswick community,” said Barszcz. “It is our honor to contribute to the upkeep of this wonderful park that is enjoyed by so many of our neighbors and friends.”

In 2013, then-East Brunswick Mayor David Stahl presented the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in East Brunswick office with a Proclamation of Good Deeds for the project at Crystal Springs.
