Ronald McDonald House fundraiser set for May 22

LONG BRANCH — Zippy Bites LLC will support the charitable efforts of Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey by supplying its newly launched chocolate truffles for gift bags to be distributed during the fourth annual Garden Tea Party set for 1-4 p.m. May 22 at Ronald McDonald House, 131 Bath Ave., Long Branch.

Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey provides a home environment for the families of seriously ill children who are receiving care at medical facilities near its locations in Long Branch and New Brunswick.

“Ronald McDonald House is an amazing organization,” said Zippy Bites LLC’s Managing Partner Mike Metro in a press release. “We’re happy to support the tireless efforts of Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey in assisting families faced with the challenge of having a seriously ill child who requires specialized medical treatment far from home.”
