‘Ride for Patriots’ motorcycle run departs from Holmdel June 12

The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County (MHA) is sponsoring the second annual “Ride for Patriots” motorcycle run June 12. Departure begins 11:15 a.m. from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. The destination is Manasquan VFW Post 1838.

The event raises awareness and funds for the free mental health services that MHA offers to members of the military and all families in Monmouth County.

A barbecue and exclusive screening of the documentary, “Project 22,” will take place between 12:30-2:30 p.m. at VFW Post 1838.

Registration is from 9-11 a.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The cost is $25 per motorcycle and $15 per passenger and includes a light breakfast, a police escort and barbecue. Non-riders can enjoy the barbecue and movie for $15.
