Land-use group announces upcoming events

Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) will host a talk by Ben Spinelli at 7:30 p.m. June 20 at the Holmdel Community Center, 4 Crawfords Corner Road.

Spinelli will discuss the new initiative, “Grown in Monmouth,” which promotes produce grown in Monmouth County. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

CILU is also inviting community members to a Shrewsbury River Eco-Cruise on Sunday, July 17. Baykeeper Debbie Mans will be the guide aboard the Captain John. Passengers will see spectacular views of the Sandy Hook Lighthouse and New York City skyline.
