Hawaiian luau to benefit young boy with disabilities

A luau buffet will be held at 1 p.m. on July 17 at East Brunswick Elks Lodge 2370, 21 Oakmont Ave., East Brunswick, to raise money for a local child, Zachary Nemeth, who is dealing with multiple disabilities. The event will be held inside if it rains.

The menu includes pulled pork, grilled chicken, teriyaki beef, vegetable fried rice, sweet potato casserole, grilled vegetables, cabbage salad and Hawaiian rolls. Dessert will include coconut cake with mango sauce, chocolate Kahlua cake, Hawaiian cake and assorted fruit.

There will also be basket raffles and music by DJ Jim Milner.

The cost is $20 per adult, $6 for children ages 4-10 and free for children under age 3.
