The North Brunswick Woman’s Club will be honoring the North Brunswick Police Department on Sept. 17 with National “Thank A Police Officer Day.”
Members want to encourage residents to show their appreciation through small acts of gratitude or by saying thank you. Businesses are urged to offer something to township officers, such as a complimentary cup of coffee or snack.

In additions, residents should tie a blue ribbon around their trees or mailbox in support of the department.
