Neve Shalom of Metuchen, 250 Grove Ave., invites everyone to joyful Simchat Torah celebrations on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25.
At 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 24, there will be a brief service followed by singing and dancing, parades with the Torah scrolls, flags and candy for children, and honoring of some special people. The celebrations continue at the 9:30 a.m. service on Oct. 25, followed by a free “stuffed cabbage” luncheon. All are welcome, there are no admission fees.
