Author to discuss her book about Jersey folks, events

EAST BRUNSWICK — The East Brunswick Historical Society will host speaker, author, columnist and genealogist, Maureen Wlodarczyk, from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Society’s building at 78 Milltown Rd.

She will discuss her book, “Jersey! Then … Again,” which contains stories about real New Jersey people and events.

Wlodarczyk is the author of five other books and writes the genealogy-related column, “History and Mystery: Perfect Together,” for the online magazine Garden State Legacy.

She received Excellence in Writing awards from the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors in 2014 and 2015, and her book, “Scarlet Letter Lives,” was a 2016 finalist in the National Indie Excellence Book Awards.
