Garbage collection changes in North Brunswick due to Thanksgiving holiday

NORTH BRUNSWICK – The North Brunswick Department of Public Works – as well as all municipal government offices – will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

As a result, the following changes are in effect for trash and recycling:

Automated trash collection in Zone 2 will be changed to Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Recycling Zone 4 will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Automated trash collection in Zone 3 will be changed to Monday, Nov. 28.

Recycling Zone 5 will be collected on Friday, Nov. 25.

Condos/townhomes with twice a week (Monday/Thursday) manual trash collection will have Thursday collection suspended, resuming on Monday, Nov. 28.

Condos/townhomes with twice a week (Tuesday/Friday) manual trash collection will have Friday collection suspended, resuming on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
