Mrs. Agnes Nicola, wife of the late Mayor Charles E. Nicola of North Brunswick, announced the marriage of her daughter, Catherine M. Nicola, to Ryck A. Suydam, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Suydam of Somerset.
Nicola is finishing her last month as a North Brunswick Township councilwoman after serving for 12 years. Ryck is the owner and operator of Suydam Farms in Somerset and a former owner of Suydam Insurance Agency in Somerset. He is currently the president of the New Jersey Farm Bureau.

The couple was married at the family home in North Brunswick by the bride’s cousin, Honorable Charles J. Kollar, and was attended by her sister, Nancy M. Nicola.
They plan on residing in Somerset after a private vacation in January.
