Make Texas Road safe for nighttime driving

This is a copy of a letter I recently sent to Mayor Owen Henry of Old Bridge.

We need your help. Texas Road is very dangerous for nighttime driving. Thick trees are on both sides of the road, and that brings more deer into the area, causing more motor-vehicle accidents, some of them fatal, during nighttime hours.

I have some suggestions to make this street safer for area residents and the deer population in Old Bridge. A fence should be built on both sides of Texas Road. We should get help from the local electric company, Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), to install sensor or solar pole lights. The road should be widened, with shoulders on both sides. Police presence is needed to monitor speeding vehicles on this road.
