Presenter Carol Palmer has worked as a program instructor for the Community Health Education department at Monmouth Medical Center for 25 years, offering programs in stress management and smoking cessation to the community. • The Manalapan Township Committee will hold its 2017 reorganization meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at the municipal building, Route 522. The meeting is open to the public. Committee members will elect a mayor for the new year, hire professionals and appoint residents to municipal boards and commissions.

• The Marlboro Jewish Center will sponsor an Israel Adventure for Women from June 25 through July 6, 2017. The tour will visit traditional and off-the-beaten-path sites, and include Shabbat in Jerusalem and a stop in Tel Aviv.
