Celebrating its 13th year, L.A. Dance Center Of The Arts, Lincroft, has earned its well-deserved reputation of being a professional dance education facility. Students are their number one priority. Directors Debra Nicolosi and Angela Thompson believe in bringing out the star in every child while building the positivity and creative confidence of dancers in a fun environment.

The highly trained staff instructors teach tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop and creative movement. And their competition team has won numerous special awards for technique, entertainment and choreography. L.A. Dance’s students’ have modeled for Danskin and costume catalogs, performed in music videos, commercials and have been chosen for professional dance teams and college dance major programs. In addition, director Debra Nicolosi won Teacher of the Year at On Stage America Nationals in Cape May this past July.

Their summer programs are not to be missed. L.A. Dance is offering a Tiny Dancer Camp for boys and girls ages two and a half to six, 9:30 a.m.-noon, July 11-13, July 18-20, Aug. 21-23 and Aug. 28-30.

The camp will include dance, vocal, acting, and crafts with musical instruments and acro with special and exciting themes. For dancers age seven and up, they offer NYC Style Intensive Workshops on June 27-29 and Aug. 28-30. Classes for ages 11 and under are held from 3:15 p.m. to 5:45. Classes for age 12 and up are held from 6 p.m. to 8:30. They feature incredible master teachers and guest choreographers from around the world teaching jazz funk, ballet and contemporary technique, and there are even open hip hop classes. L.A. Dance also accepts children in their programs all year long with no mandatory recital.
