Chhange presents program at Brookdale

The Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education (Chhange) will hold a new program, “Muslim Women in Our Community” at Brookdale Community College (BCC), 765 Newman Springs Rd., Lincroft.

The program will take place at 7 p.m. on March 22. The program will be held in Navesink rooms one and two at the Warner Student Life Center, Parking lot No. 7, Arena Drive.

Individuals who attend the program will be able to listen a panel of diverse Muslim women who live, work and serve  in the local  community.

The panel will be led by Fatima Jaffari, co-founder of Garden State MOSAIC, an award winning interfaith youth program. The program will also include a doctor, the coordinator of a large interfaith soup kitchen, a yoga guru, and a Kung Fu master.
