Teen and tween programs set for April at Middletown Library

A series of teen and tween programs will be sponsored this April by the Middletown Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown.

All programs require registration unless noted otherwise. Register for events at http://www.mtpl.org/ or by phone at 732-671-3700 ext. 340.

The programs are:

Stock Market Game will be held every Friday in April, beginning April 7 at 3:30 p.m. Learn about the Stock Market and compete to have the highest earning portfolio by the end of the month. Receive $100,000 of fake money to invest. Buy and sell stocks, do research, and earn the most money.

Knitting and Crocheting will be held on April 13 at 3:30 p.m.  Learn to knit or crochet, while working on a community project. The program will donate baby blankets to Blankie Depot. The blankets will go to families in need and will be given to local hospitals. Please bring your own crochet hook or knitting needle. The library will provide the yarn.

Adventures in Art on April 4 at 7 p.m. and  on April 17 at 3:45 p.m. Miss Nicole will lead the class in a new type of art.

SAT Practice Exam on April 22 at 9:30 a.m. -Take a free SAT Practice Exam at the library, conducted by The Princeton Review. Sign up through The Princeton Review.

College Financial Planning Workshop  on April 25 at 7 p.m.  The College Funding Associates will be offering a free workshop on financial planning for college. This workshop is open to parents and high school students.

International Table Top on April 29 at 1 p.m. Play board games all day long. See the upcoming schedule for games played throughout the day. Stay for one game or as many as you like. Celebrate gaming and have fun.

Weekly and Monthly Programs:

Homework help, develop a skill or drop in for fun creative activities. The library will offer K-12 Tutoring, Math Tutoring, Physics Study Group, Table Top Gaming, Debate Club, Pizza and Pages Book Club, plus more.
