The Old Bridge Public Library will offer a five-part South Asian Wellness and Management Diabetes Education program that will provide a comprehensive guide for living with, and successfully managing, diabetes, particularly for those in the South Asian community.

The sessions will run from 1-3 p.m. on Thursdays, April 27-May 25 at the Old Bridge Library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center. Participants must attend all five sessions.

In addition to an initial overview session, other classes will address healthy eating, medications, stress management, nutrition and the important role of exercise.

Presented in conjunction with RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers University, the sessions will be led by registered dietitians and nurses.

Registration is required by calling 732-721-5600, ext. 5033 or visiting www.oldbridgelibrary.org. Participants only need to register once for each program, not for each week.
